Onboarding Process

1. Create & Grant Access to Facebook Accounts

Firstly, you’re going to need to create a Business Manager account.

Business Manager is a Facebook tool that helps organise and manage your business. Note: You need a Facebook profile to create a Business Manager account. 

To create a Business Manager:

  1. Go to business.facebook.com.
  2. Click Create account.
  3. Enter a name for your business, and enter your name and work email.
  4. Enter the rest of your information.

Next, you need to add your Facebook Page to your Business Manager.

To add a Page to your Business Manager:

  1. Go to Business settings.
  2. Below Accounts, click Pages.
  3. Click +Add.
  4. Select Add a Page.
  5. Enter the Facebook Page name or URL.

Note: Anyone who had access to the Page before it was added to Business Manager will still be able to access and manage the Page.

Steps to add an ad account in Business Manager:

  1. Go to Business settings.
  2. Click Accounts and click Ad accounts.
  3. Click +Add.
  4. Choose Create a new ad account (or Add an ad account if you have one already)
  5. Create a new ad account. Be careful to choose GBP currency as this cannot be changed later, you would need to create a new ad account again.

Next, you will need to add a payment method to your ad account. This is the money that gets sent directly to Facebook for the ads that we run.

Steps to add a payment method to your ad account:

  1. Go to your payment settings in Ads Manager.
  2. In the Payment method section, click Add Payment Method.

3. Choose the payment method that you want to add, fill in your information, then click Continue.
4. Follow any additional instructions to add your payment method.

Last but not least, we need you to grant us access to your Business manager, Facebook Page and Ad Account!

To provide us with access;

  1. Go to Business Settings.
  2. Click People.
  3. Click +Add.
  4. Enter [email protected]
  5. Select the Admin access role
  6. Click Next.
  7. Choose Pages in the first column, then select your Facebook Page in the second column, then in the third column, toggle on admin access
  8. Choose Ad accounts in the first column, then select your ad account in the second column, then in the third column, toggle on admin access
  9. Click Invite.
Note: It’s important to choose admin access, otherwise we can have issues in getting ads up and running on your Facebook page through your ad account.
