Il Forno a Legna

Il Forno a Legna is a pizzeria in Ronda, in the south of Spain, run by Omar. We got to know him as regular customers, and after seeing our work he asked us to build a new website for the restaurant.

That one project turned into three.

The brief

Omar wanted a site in Spanish and English to reach more visitors, and an interactive menu rather than a static image so it would work well on phones. Beyond that he gave us freedom over the design.

What we did

• Built a bilingual Spanish and English website with an interactive menu
• Added online table reservations so customers no longer need to phone
• Set up takeaway ordering directly from the site
• Filmed and photographed Omar's food for the homepage
• Created a smartphone app linked to the website, so reservations and orders sync in one place, then redesigned the restaurant menu

The result

Omar can now manage bookings and takeaway orders from his phone or tablet across both the website and the app. He was delighted with the results and still uses our hosting and support for updates to the site and app.
