Your domain and email
If your domain is registered with GoDaddy too, you can keep it there and just point it at us, or move it as well. We will explain the options.
If you use email on your domain, such as [email protected], we plan the move so it keeps working throughout. We move your mailboxes as part of the job and tell you exactly what, if anything, to update on your phone or computer.

How the move works
- 1Tell us what you have. Your web address, where it is hosted and who manages your domain.
- 2We copy everything. Your website, database and email accounts go onto our servers while your old site stays live.
- 3We test it. We check pages, forms and email on our side before anything changes for your visitors.
- 4We switch over. We point your domain at the new hosting, usually at a quiet time, so the move goes unnoticed.
- 5You check, then cancel. Once you are happy, you cancel the old plan. Keep it running until then.
What it costs
Migration is free with annual plans, or £49 per standard site on monthly plans. Large shops and email-heavy moves are quoted separately, and you get the price before we start. See our hosting plans.
Before you cancel
Do not cancel your old plan until we confirm the move is finished and you have checked everything. Your current host may also have a notice period or an auto-renewal date, so it is worth checking that early.
Questions we get asked
Is it hard to leave GoDaddy?
Not for you. We need access to your account to copy the site, and we do the rest. The main thing is not cancelling until the move is complete.
Will my website look or work any differently?
No. We move the same site. It should just load faster.
How long does it take?
We agree a date with you once we have access, and test everything before the switch so there is no rush.
